Alpine rock climbing used to be my real passion, but badly breaking my arm in 2011 (and the subsequent loss of range of motion) pretty much ended that. I never climb anything very hard - really my main goal was to put myself in the most spectacular settings possible. I loved scaling the side of some huge mountain with nothing but vast vistas and huge expanses of rock in all directions.
