Snow Climbing |
It's funny - when I describe snow climbing to people that aren't outdoorsy it sounds dumb: thousands of vertical feet of plant axe, take a step, repeat. But for some reason I love it!
I think one of the reasons I love it so much is that it puts you into really cool settings. I love being in a narrow, snow-filled couloir with thin ribbons of pure white snow stretching above and below and soaring rock walls towering over my head.
