Longs Peak - Flying Dutchman

The original plan was to climb Flying Dutchman, climb over the top of The Beaver, rapp into The Notch, then climb up Stepladder to the summit of Longs.
However, I felt like garbage from the get-go and thus was really slow. By the time we topped out from Flying Dutchman it was already pretty late and the weather was a bit dodgy. We decided to bail down The Loft.
Snow conditions in Flying Dutchman were good - nice and hard styrofoam snow. The crux of the couloir consisted of about a 20‘ section of waterfall ice that we protected with screws and a couple of cams.
Good times.
